Had to rewire my whole shop after 6 years of doing it wrong
Was talking to an inspector in Tulsa last month. He pointed at my junction box and asked why I was twisting grounds instead of using Wagos. I been doing it the old way since trade school. He showed me the code update from 2017. Felt like an idiot. Anybody else find out they been breaking code for years without knowing?

Wagos aren't required for grounds, just wire nuts or crimps.

Two years ago my brother-in-law tried using crimps for a truck full of light fixtures and half of them popped off before he even got the van doors shut... @danielmason you're right that Wagos aren't required for grounds, but sometimes I feel like the extra grip helps keep things tidy in a crowded junction box. A little insurance never hurts when you're crawling back into an attic three months later.
