Hit 1,000 straight days on my language app and it felt weird

Tbh I only kept the streak alive because of the shame of losing it, but last Tuesday I crossed 1,000 days on Duolingo and realized I can actually read a Spanish menu now. Has anyone else stuck with a habit that long and found the payoff was way smaller than the effort?

See it as a win, not a letdown. Reading a menu in Spanish is a real skill, and you got it by showing up daily, even when it felt dumb. Maybe the effort felt big, but the payoff is that you can actually use it, which is more than most people ever get from a habit.
