The networking group that ghosted me after 3 events

Joined a Scottsdale leads group back in March because a buddy swore it was the real deal. Paid the $150 annual fee, showed up to 3 breakfast meetings, and brought two solid referrals for other members. Then out of nowhere the organizer stopped responding to my texts and the next meeting invite never came. Found out they dropped me because I missed one event while I was at a job in Flagstaff. Has anyone else gotten the silent treatment from a group that seemed great at the first meet?

Those two referrals you brought, did either of them actually close a deal with anyone in the group? I've seen people get all dramatic about getting "ghosted" but really the group just filled up and moved on. The $150 fee probably covers a few breakfasts and that's about it, so it's not like you lost a ton of money. Missing one meeting in three months is pretty normal for people who actually work, and if they can't handle that, you probably dodged a cliquey mess anyway.
