The Mesa chamber mixer double-booking nearly cost me a real client
Last Tuesday I showed up to a networking breakfast at the Mesa chamber and two different groups were using the same room, so I spent 40 minutes shuffling between tables and almost missed the main contact I came for, has anyone else had event organizers drop the ball like that here in the Valley?

Mixers are turning into a circus. Greeters need a clipboard and a backbone.

Three mixers in a row at the Valley View hall and I've yet to see a single clipboard in action. People just wander in, grab a name tag, and somehow it all works out. Is it a little chaotic sometimes? Sure, but that's half the fun for me. Honestly, if we turn it into a full-on security checkpoint, I'm just gonna stay home and watch the game.
