Wednesday ruined my whole anime club vibe and it wasnt even the show

We got through 3 episodes of that new mech series at the library room on 5th street and then the projector bulb died mid-fight scene, so we sat in the dark for 20 minutes while the librarian tried to restart it and someone kept yelling spoilers from the manga, has anyone else had a session just collapse like that for no good reason?
