PSA: My whole anime watch group got into a huge fight over the ending of Attack on Titan last night at my place in Tempe.

We spent 3 hours arguing about the final scene, and now nobody wants to pick our next show, so has anyone else had a watch party totally derailed by a divisive ending and how did you move past it?

Yeah, "over everything" is the key part. Read an article about how people get into these weird online fights over the smallest details now. It's not just about liking or not liking a thing anymore. It's like your whole personality is tied to it. Makes it impossible to just have a normal chat.
