I used to binge subs in one night, now I take a week per show
Back in my early anime days, say 2018, I would crush a 24 episode series in a single sitting. I thought that was the only way to really enjoy it, you know, full immersion. But last year I hit a wall with a show called Mushishi, it's super slow and episodic, and I fell asleep three times trying to finish it. Some guy on Reddit told me to watch one or two episodes a night instead, treat it like a bedtime ritual. Now I do that with everything, even action shows, and I notice way more details in the animation and voice acting. It feels less like checking a box and more like actually hanging out with the characters. Anyone else switch their pace and find they like slower watches better, or is that just me getting old? lol

Watching one or two episodes nightly lets the small stuff sink in way deeper than binging ever did.
