Heard a scary quote about 2G shutdowns and my own installs
Honestly, was at a supply house pickup last Thursday and overheard a tech talking about a customer whose panel went dead silent after the local 2G sunset. He said 'we sold them a system that never called out once.' That hit me hard because I have maybe 12 older cellular communicators out there on 2G or 3G still. Ngl, I checked my own records that night and found 4 accounts past their carrier support date. I'm now calling every one of those clients this week to quote an upgrade before they find out the hard way. Has anyone else run into this gap with old communicators, and how are you handling the cost pushback?
