Tried frozen wings in the air fryer vs fresh ones side by side

I finally compared frozen party wings with fresh ones in my air fryer, same temperature and time. The frozen ones came out way crispier and juicier, I think it's because they don't dry out as fast. Has anyone else had better luck with frozen over fresh for chicken?

Oh man, I had the exact same experience! I did a test last month with drumettes and flats, frozen ones from a big bag versus fresh from the butcher. The frozen ones came out way better, like the ice crystals created steam that kept the inside tender while the outside got super crunchy. I even tried brushing the fresh ones with oil and seasoning them extra, but they still turned out drier and less crispy. Have you played around with different temps for the frozen ones, or did you find a specific time that works best?
