Stop overcrowding your air fryer basket
I see so many people dump a whole pound of fries in there and wonder why they're soggy. Air needs to move around each piece. That's the whole point. I did a test with 8 ounces of wings vs 16 ounces. The 8 ounce batch came out perfect and crispy in 12 minutes. The 16 ounce batch took 22 minutes and still had soft spots. Has anyone else noticed this makes or breaks a meal?

Gave my buddy a whole bag of frozen wings and told him the same thing. He crammed them all in there like a puzzle, air fryer looked like a Tetris game. Texted me later saying they took forever and the ones in the middle were rubbery. I just sent him back the original post you wrote without saying anything. He gets it now, keeps it to one layer. Lives by it.

Respectfully @hayden_butler27 I gotta disagree a little lol. Yeah single layer is ideal but sometimes you just don't have time for multiple batches. What works for me is crowding them a bit but shaking the basket every 4-5 minutes and adding like 3 extra minutes to the cook time. The ones in the middle get crispy enough as long as you don't let them sit still. Tetris game is hilarious though I've been there.

Single layer or you're eating steamed wings.
