Stayed at an Airbnb in Austin, their air fryer changed how I cook eggs now
Went down to Austin for a long weekend last month and the place we rented had one of those drawer style air fryers sitting on the counter. I figured whatever, I'll use it for frozen fries, but the owner left a note saying to try eggs in it. So I cracked two eggs into a small ramekin, set it to 300 for like 8 minutes, and they came out perfect with the yolks still soft. I never thought to do eggs in mine because I always worry they'll dry out or stick. Since I got back home I've done them three times now, once with some cheese and diced ham mixed in, and it's honestly better than my stovetop method. Anyone else do eggs in the air fryer or am I late to this? What's your time and temp for them that actually works?
300 degrees for 8 minutes? That's it, no preheating or flipping or anything? I'm genuinely mad I've been babysitting eggs on the stove my whole life when this was sitting in my cabinet.
