Put $5k into a white-label partner and got back a mess
Six months ago I paid a white-label agency $5k upfront to handle overflow SEO work for three of my clients, and they blew every deadline with zero communication until I started cc'ing their CEO. The reports they finally sent were full of copied template language that my clients instantly spotted, so I had to redo two entire deliverables myself under a rush timeline. Has anyone here had a white-label flop this bad, or did I just pick the wrong shop to trust with my client names? I'm weighing whether to sue or just eat the loss and vet partners harder next time.

Three years back I put $4k into a white-label shop for link building and got back 30 directories that were all nofollow and half were already dead. Look, most of these places run the same playbook, they take your money, send you generic pasted reports, and pray you don't check anything. You probably picked a shop that was just a middleman reselling work from some cheaper outfit, which is why the quality tanked. Skip the lawsuit, that'll cost you more time and money than the $5k, and next time ask for 3 live client references and a sample report before you hand over a dime.
