Rant: My $40 'adulting' planner lasted exactly 11 days before I gave up
I bought this fancy planner in March after a coworker swore it would fix my scheduling chaos. Turns out, I spent more time color-coding tasks than actually doing them, and by day 11 I was just writing 'survived' over and over. The real issue was I used it to avoid real choices, like saying no to a friend's wedding invite I couldn't afford. Now I'm back to sticky notes on my monitor, which honestly works better for my brain. Has anyone else dumped a system that was supposed to make you feel grown up, or is it just me?
Yep! A buddy of mine dropped $60 on a goal journal and quit after a week because he was just writing down stuff he already did. The planner wasn't the problem, he just hated admitting he didn't want to go to half those events either.
