Rant: my $300 upright vacuum from 2015 is still going and my neighbor's fancy robot died in 8 months
My neighbor dropped $600 on one of those robot vacuums last spring and it quit on her 8 months later, while my dumb $300 upright from 2015 is still sucking up dog hair in my house in Des Moines. I always thought I was behind the times for not having one of those app-connected things, but watching her go back to a broom in her kitchen kind of made my day. So what's the actual deal, are the pricey robot ones just built to die or did she get a lemon?
