I let my 8 year old handle the school forms for one week and missed a $75 deadline
Last Tuesday my wife handed me a folder with 4 permission slips, a lunch balance notice, and a field trip payment due Friday. I figured the kid could learn something so I let him sort it. He put the lunch notice in the recycling and the field trip form under his bed. Now I'm paying $75 late fees and the school secretary in Pflugerville looked at me like I was the child. Anyone else hand off real stuff to your kids and watch it fall apart?
