Paid $300 for a 'full system flush' on my swamp cooler that did nothing
The guy said it would fix my low airflow, but it was just a clogged pad. Anyone have a good local place that won't upsell basic fixes?

Classic upsell move right there. They always push the flush when it's usually a simple clog or loose wire. My buddy runs a small shop over on 5th, he'll just clean the pad and charge you for the hour.

Is it ever actually a full flush though? Most times they just want to sell you the expensive fix. I've seen this happen way too often.

Ugh, my neighbor got the same "premium flush" last summer. The motor was just unplugged.
