inVent: My 1,000th chimney clean was a weird one
That "four hours is just a normal workday" bit really sells how tough your job can be.

inAm I the only one who just found out about password manager auto-fill risks?
Turned mine off after the same thing happened on a dodgy shopping site. Honestly it just felt too risky letting it fill anything automatically. Now I copy and paste from the manager instead.

inQuestion about coolant filtration systems. I dropped $1200 on a fancy magnetic unit that clogged in a month.
Man, magnetic filters don't clog, they just collect metal shavings.

inMy uncle swore by a 3-hour rest for brisket, I called BS until I tried it on my last cook
Oh absolutely, it's a total game changer. I used to just let it sit for an hour and thought that was enough, but after trying a long rest like kim373 mentioned, I'm convinced. That extra time lets all the heat and juices spread out evenly so every single bite is good. It turns a decent brisket into something you can't stop eating.

inI was at a truck pull in Knoxville and saw a guy run his 6.7 Powerstroke with a cracked intercooler pipe for three passes. The way it sputtered made me rethink every 'it'll be fine' I've ever said.
Ever wonder where that attitude comes from? Is it just long hours on the road making people shrug off risks, or is there more to it? I've heard stories about guys driving with questionable brakes or in crazy weather because the load had to get there. Does the job itself force that mindset, or do only certain types of people stick with it?
