The fear you mentioned is just people facing real world results for what they say. It’s not about being scared to talk, it’s about being smart enough to not say garbage. This is how regular folks get to hold powerful people accountable. Without it, bad behavior just gets ignored. Letting things slide never fixed anything.

Why hide something that doesn't matter to a real friend anyway? It just builds a weird wall over nothing. Being open always worked out better for me.
