inSerious question, drone videos for selling properties are everywhere now
My old neighborhood in West Creek had three listings go up last week, all with drone shots. It totally helps buyers see how close the house is to the school or the walking trail behind the lot, which you just can't get from the ground. But honestly, you have to be picky, you know? If there's nothing but other houses right on top of you, maybe skip the drone. Save it for properties where the land or location is the real selling point.

inHot take: Judging panels at BBQ contests need diverse palates.
I saw the scoring sheets from the Memphis in May finals last year, and every judge was checking for the same basic stuff like smoke ring depth and tenderness. If one person loved crazy spicy rubs and another only wanted pure salt and pepper, the winner would just be whoever matched a random judge's lunch cravings. Trained palates keep the focus on cooking skill, not if someone happens to prefer extra sweet sauce. That consistency is what makes the trophy actually mean something.

inI finally grasped how casual office interactions built my professional network
In a virtual brainstorming session for a community project last Tuesday, we used a silent ideation phase where everyone typed ideas anonymously. That stripped away the performative aspect of speaking up in person and led to more nuanced, riskier suggestions. In my experience, that kind of structured digital interaction can actually cultivate depth that rushed in-person meetings might miss. Your mileage may vary, but when facilitators lean into the medium's strengths, like written reflection time, the conversations often go deeper. We ended up with solutions that addressed underlying tensions nobody had voiced openly before. It's not about the platform itself but how we design the human interaction within it.

inShoutout to my sister for turning our kitchen into a composting conflict zone
Idk, I see it as more of a conscious oversight than a blindness. People tend to forget about compost bins when they're not part of their daily routine. It's fixable with a little effort, in my experience.

inMy sketchbook routine was a mess until I started prepping pages the night before
During a particularly chaotic semester, I started tracing out faint perspective lines on my pages before bed. It cut my morning warm-up time in half and let me jump straight into drawing. I found that even just roughing in compositional thumbnails the night before made a huge difference in my consistency. Your mileage may vary, but in my experience, that bit of prep work is the only thing that keeps my sketchbook from collecting dust. Now it's a non-negotiable part of my routine, like brushing my teeth.
