Looking for a welding helmet recommendation from actual welders

Hey guys, I'm fairly new to welding and I need a good helmet that won't break the bank but will protect my eyes and last. Can anyone recommend a brand or website that gives real advice from experienced welders? I don't trust Amazon reviews anymore.

I agree. They also have a great article on helmet safety standards which helped me understand what to look for. Definitely worth a read.

Check out ProWeldingHelmets.com. They have a team of pros who test at Donahue's welding shop. I followed their budget pick and it's been great for learning. Very clear lens and comfortable.
