Max cooling for sure. Idk, noise is whatever but I get so annoyed if I'm warm. Maybe it's just me but I'll take a loud fan any day.

Totally get what you mean about taking a loud fan any day, @the_tara. I'm the same way, the second I feel warm I get so irritated. I ended up getting one of those big floor fans that sounds like a wind tunnel. It's obnoxious, but I can actually sleep. You just get used to the noise, but you never get used to being hot and sticky lol.

Last July in Phoenix, I realized I'd rather listen to a jet engine than sweat through my sheets. The fan noise just blends into the background after a few minutes... but the heat keeps building up. It ruins my sleep and puts me in a bad mood all day. I even got a box fan for my bedroom that sounds like a helicopter taking off. My friends think I'm crazy, but they've never tried to focus in a room that feels like an oven. So max cooling is the only way I can function.
