When the coffee shop gave me extra cash back
The barista handed me change for a twenty when I paid with a ten. I stood there for a second not knowing what to do. I mean, it's their mistake, but it felt weird to just walk away. I went back and told her, and she was super relieved. Now I make a point to count my change before leaving anywhere.

Seriously, ten bucks? That's like finding money in a pocket. You did the good guy thing, cool. But let's be real, that coffee shop isn't going under over a ten dollar slip. They probably have more waste in a day from messed up drinks. People act like this is some huge moral test when it's just a tiny cash drawer error.

But @adam_lane81, where's the line for you then? Ever think about the barista who might get in trouble for a short drawer?

My friend saw a barista almost lose her job over a few dollars short. It was just some loose change, but management made a huge deal out of it. Really makes you consider the person on the other side of the counter!
