I finally get why seahorse dads are the real MVPs of the ocean.
They carry and birth the young, handling all the tough work. Human fathers have it easy in comparison.

Have you ever watched footage of a seahorse birth? I saw a documentary on it once, and it is truly incredible work. Seeing all those tiny babies pour out really puts it in perspective. It makes the whole "dad joke" thing feel pretty light by comparison. Human dads really have no room to complain after seeing that.

Actually @the_ray, isn't the seahorse just carrying the eggs in a pouch? Like, the mom still makes the eggs first. Sounds rough for a minute, but human dads have to deal with all that other stuff for years. It's not really the same kind of work.
