Vent: My sister's dog chewed up my jump rope right before my cardio session
I had my jump rope laid out for a quick cardio blast after work, and my sister dropped by with her new puppy. While we were chatting, the pup snuck off and started gnawing on the handles, lol. By the time I noticed, it was already shredded and useless. I had to switch to just doing bodyweight stuff, which wasn't the same. Now I'm stuck figuring out how to keep my workout gear safe from pets when people visit. It's like my home gym is a magnet for chaos sometimes. What do you all do to protect your equipment from household mishaps? Any cheap storage ideas would help.

Ugh, I've probably tripped over my own equipment more times than a pet's ruined it.

Last week, my friend's puppy chewed through his resistance bands, which reminds me of @sarahk10's point about home gym chaos. He now uses an old footlocker to store everything when pets are around.

Seriously, that footlocker idea sounds like a hassle. I bet the puppy would just find something else to chew anyway.
