My wall-mounted storage solution saved my home workouts from chaos

I mean, idk about you, but I used to have all my workout stuff piled in a corner. It was a mess. Then I got a simple pegboard and some hooks from the store. I hung up my bands, ropes, and even my yoga mat. Now everything has its spot. My workouts are so much smoother because I grab what I need fast. Maybe it's just me, but a tidy space makes me want to exercise more. If your gear is all over the place, you're making it harder on yourself. Trust me, taking a weekend to set this up is worth it.

Actually, that sagging sounds like a weak wall anchor, not the board itself.

Pegboards can handle bands and mats, but I found they sag with anything over 10 pounds. Like if you have kettlebells or even some dumbbells, they need more support. I tried using stronger hooks and it still bent the board after a while. For heavier stuff, I had to switch to a metal grid system instead. It cost a bit more but holds everything without worry. Just something to think about if your gear includes weightier items.

Popular Mechanics labeled pegboards 'wall candy' once you hit 10 pounds, so grids make sense.
