A childhood dream we all shared matched an old home video
Growing up, my two sisters and I would sometimes mention dreaming about a blue swing set in a grassy yard. We thought it was just a weird coincidence, like a glitch in our family memories. Then, while helping my parents move, we found a box of old tapes from when we were toddlers. We popped one in, and sure enough, there was that exact blue swing set in our old backyard. None of us could recall playing on it, but the video proof was right there. It was a relief to finally have an answer for something that bugged us for years. We had a good laugh about how our minds latched onto that image. Stuff like this makes me appreciate how families can have these shared, odd moments.
