Just found out my go-to fabric mill has shady practices

Honestly, I was picking silk for a spring dress when a friend tipped me off about their labor issues. Tbh, it felt wrong to keep using them even though the cost was low. Ngl, I dropped them fast and found a pricier but clean supplier. It delayed my sample run by two weeks. Please double-check where your materials come from.

Sometimes the switch isn't so clear cut... what if the new supplier has problems too? I've seen places with good labels still have bad stuff going on behind the scenes. Cost matters for small projects... can't always pay the higher price right away. Maybe asking questions first is better than just dropping them fast.

What if you find out later the cheap option cuts corners on safety stuff?
