I finally gave up on that LED mask everyone was pushing on Instagram

I mean, I dropped about $250 on it six months ago because the ads made it look like a magic wand for fine lines. Used it every other night like clockwork, followed the whole routine. Honestly? I saw zero change. Not even a little glow. My regular clients who do chemical peels or even just use a good vitamin C serum get better results. It just sits in my drawer now, a shiny reminder that not every new gadget is worth the hype. Has anyone else tried one of these and actually had it work, or did I just get a dud brand?

Yeah, it feels like every new gadget is just overpriced hope in a box.

Read an article last week about how companies now plan for shorter product life cycles on purpose. They know we'll buy the next version in a year, so they don't bother making the current one last. It's all built-in obsolescence.

Ugh, I was totally convinced those masks were the future! My sister swore by hers, but after trying it myself, it's just another expensive placebo. Some tech just doesn't live up to the marketing.
