Had a whole section of 5/8 board buckle on me in a Phoenix attic last Thursday

It was 112 degrees up there and I think the heat got to the adhesive before I could get it fully screwed. Ended up having to pull down three sheets and start over after letting the space cool down with a portable fan for an hour. What's the hottest temp you guys will still try to hang board in?

Ever tried using a temp gun to check the actual surface temp of the board before you start? I won't even bring the sheets up if the surface reads over 95, the adhesive just turns to soup. That Phoenix heat is no joke, man.

95 degrees is that big of a deal?

Wait, you won't even start if it's over 95? That's a hard line. I've definitely pushed it past a hundred before and regretted the whole mess. Your method is probably the smarter move.
