My Lisbon block's package setup made me reconsider needing a fixed address as a nomad.

What do you do for official mail like passports?

For stuff like passports, I used a PO box at my local post office. It costs a bit each month but felt way safer than having that kind of mail sitting in my apartment building lobby. When my renewal came through, I just picked it up directly from the post office box. That gave me real peace of mind, the_victor, since it couldn't get lost or stolen. For any other official documents, I still use that same box.

How did a package setup in Lisbon make you doubt having a fixed address? That's wild, I always thought it was essential for nomads.
