kim.xena's question always gets me. I can barely get my own kids to listen to me about anything, let alone teach them life lessons they'll actually use. If I tried to pass on some deep wisdom, my youngest would just roll his eyes and ask if there's any pizza left. I guess the real test is if your advice survives a teenager's mood, and if so, you might be onto something.

Yeah, wondering if they practice what they preach is the real test. I've found the best way is to just ask them directly, it cuts through the guesswork.
