That time I walked out mid dinner at Olive Garden in Miami
Honestly, my date spent 20 minutes lecturing me about why people who use self-checkout are ruining society. I told him I work a union job sorting mail and I don't have time for that kind of gatekeeping. When he kept pushing after I asked him to drop it, I just stood up and left him with the $42 check in Coconut Grove. Has anyone else bailed mid meal when someone got way too preachy?

Right? @the_pat nailed it, the dude was looking for a reason to be mad, not an actual problem with the store lol. Self checkout is just faster for most of us anyway.
