Two weeks of blocking my own spam folder fixed my inbox panic

I finally stopped checking email every 20 minutes after I set up a filter that dumps anything with the word 'unsubscribe' straight to trash, and now I answer actual messages from my boss in under an hour instead of digging through 40 coupon bombs, so has anyone else just nuked their junk instead of trying to organize it?
