The $60 'waterproof' boot spray that ruined my rain gear in Seattle
I hosed down my trusty boots with that sealant spray last week and now they soak through worse than before, so has anyone else had a waterproofing product backfire this badly on them?

Did you let it dry fully before wearing them, or did you rush it and trap moisture inside?
