Rant: my neighbor's 4 word critique fixed my whole yard routine
So I spent like 2 hours every Saturday trimming hedges with hand shears because I thought power tools would butcher the shape. My neighbor Bill walks over last month, looks at my lopsided azaleas and says 'you need a hedge trimmer, dumbass.' I got a corded one for 60 bucks at the hardware store in Wichita and finished the whole front yard in 20 minutes. The lines are way straighter than anything I did by hand and I actually have time to mow now. Anyone else get stuck in a stubborn old way until someone just called them out bluntly?
