Argued with my neighbor over a parking spot for 20 minutes, then realized we were both wrong
He said I took his usual spot outside the laundromat on 5th, I said he never parks there before noon, and we went back and forth until the guy in the Honda rolls down his window and says the whole block is meters now, not assigned. The city changed it last week and neither of us checked. Has anyone else had a fight that turned out to be pointless because the rules already shifted without you?
