Switched to a password manager after a close call at work

I always thought password managers were too complicated. Then last month our company got hit with a phishing email and I almost gave away my work login. The IT guy sat me down and showed me how the manager autofills passwords without me typing them in. Now I use Bitwarden for all my accounts and it's way easier than remembering 20 different passwords. Has anyone else had that moment where they finally got why password managers matter?

Ha I was the dweeb" - honestly that's the most secure password method ever though. A friend of mine did the same thing with a sticky note under his desk at work, and it saved his bacon when his laptop got wiped and he forgot his email password. He's the only person I know who never had to deal with those dreaded account recovery emails.
