I used to mock people for using password managers, now I'm a total convert
For years I thought password managers were just for paranoid tech bros who thought the NSA was after them. Then last month my work account got hit in a data breach at a site I used back in 2018 and I had to reset like 40 logins across different services. Finally caved and tried Bitwarden and honestly it took maybe 20 minutes to get set up and now I sleep way better at night. Has anyone else changed their mind hard about something they used to make fun of?

I used to mock people for using password managers" really hit home for me. I was the same way, thinking it was just one more thing to remember or some complicated setup. But honestly, the biggest shock was how much easier my life got once I stopped trying to remember 15 different passwords for every site. Now I don't have to do that stupid "click forgot password" dance every time I need to log into something I haven't used in 6 months. It's weird to admit but I actually feel a little embarrassed for how hard I rolled my eyes at the whole concept before.

Oh man, I feel you on that one lol. But I gotta say, you're still kinda missing the point a little. Password managers aren't just about not having to remember stuff, they're about not using the same password for everything. I used to do that "one password for all my accounts" thing and honestly that's way more risky than forgetting a password. The manager lets you make each one totally random and impossible to guess, so if one site gets hacked you're not screwed everywhere else. It's like having a locksmith that gives you a different key for every door instead of one master key that opens your whole life.

The real eye opener for me was how much more secure my family is now. Got my wife and both parents on Bitwarden and set up a shared folder for stuff like the Netflix and Amazon accounts. Makes it easy to change passwords regularly too since they don't have to memorize anything. You notice any other unexpected perks after switching?
