Can we talk about how phishing emails got so much harder to detect over the years?

I nearly gave away my login info, but then I started looking for subtle typos in the sender's address.

Look at it this way. Companies got way better at copying real logos and writing styles. Honestly think it's easier to spot now because we all know to check the sender.

Yeah but when you say "we all know to check the sender," is that really true for everyone? I still see people get tricked by emails where the address is just one letter off from the real company. The fakes are so good now that a quick glance isn't enough, you gotta actually stop and study it. Feels like the scammers are just getting better at using our own habits against us lol.

Totally. Hovering over links before clicking shows the real URL. Same idea as checking the sender.
