Tried that new bond repair treatment on myself and my hair turned into straw for 3 days

I used the Olaplex step 3 on my highlights last Tuesday in Tulsa and left it on 45 minutes like the bottle said, but my hair came out dry and brittle-what gives, anyone else have this happen with a specific brand?

Wait Tulsa Oklahoma? I'm shook you found a decent hair product there honestly. Tbh Olaplex is the only thing that's ever worked for my damaged hair but I've heard horror stories about people leaving it on too long or using too much.

Nah you can definitely overdo it with Olaplex, it's not like it's foolproof or anything. I've seen people leave that stuff on for hours thinking more is better and fry their hair even worse than before.
