I spent $50 on a special brush set that was basically useless

Last month I bought this expensive set of brushes for applying hair color and they shed so badly I had fibers stuck in every strand. Has anyone else fallen for a tool that looked great but just wasted your money?

Nah, a dud batch is still the product's fault, not the technique.

Ngl I actually had the complete opposite experience. I grabbed a set from a drugstore brand a couple years back and they worked great, no shedding at all. Maybe you just got a dud batch or something. I feel like sometimes people blame the tool when the technique is off, you know?
