Hit my 500th client today and I'm surprised I made it

I work out of a small salon in Portland and today I finished up with client number 500 since I started keeping track three years ago. I honestly thought I'd burn out way before this or switch careers after a bad experience with a harsh perm that went wrong. But seeing that number pop up on my log made me realize how much I've grown from those shaky first haircuts. Has anyone else hit a random milestone like this that caught them off guard?
