I watched a 3 hour documentary on the 'flat earth' theory and then a 20 minute video from a physics teacher... the difference was insane.

Seriously? People still get worked up about flat earthers? It's a tiny group of folks online. Most of them are just trolling or stuck in a weird YouTube hole. That physics teacher probably just explained gravity with an apple and a ball. The documentary spent three hours on "research" that a kid with a telescope could disprove. It's not some big battle of ideas, it's just nonsense.
