TIL concrete weighs about 4,000 pounds per cubic yard
Found that on a supplier's spec sheet while figuring out a driveway pour last week in Dayton. Blew my mind that a standard 10 yard truck is hauling 20 tons, no wonder those ruts happen. Anyone else ever stop and think about that on a normal day?
