Last Tuesday I fixed a server by unplugging a single dusty fan and the client paid me $400
The whole office was overheating and their network kept dropping out, so I show up and find the intake fan completely caked in 4 years of dust bunnies, blew it out with compressed air and everything ran perfectly again, has anyone else had a ridiculously easy fix that made you feel like a wizard?

Heard a whole thing on a podcast about how some places are just price gouging like crazy on basic supplies. They talked about how a can of compressed air costs like a dollar to make but they slap a huge markup on it because they know people are stuck with whatever's available. It's not like you can just walk out and find another option when your PC is crashing mid-project. Just feels slimy, especially when they're acting like it's some premium product.
