Thought I knew how to tie a knot until a dive buddy showed me my carabiner was backwards on my lift bag last week in Port Townsend
He just pointed and said 'you're gonna drop that whole crate of scallops' and sure enough it slipped off when I tested it on the dock - has anyone else ever had a basic gear setup fail on them because you were rushing through pre-dive checks?
