Can we talk about the push for all these new wireless comms systems? I ran a job in the Gulf comparing the new wireless to hardwired.

We had a 30% higher failure rate on the wireless gear after just 3 days, and the delay on voice was dangerous during a delicate rigging lift. Anyone else find the tech just isn't reliable enough yet?

What kind of wireless gear were you using? That delay sounds scary for rigging.

Ask what brand of wireless gear had that delay. @perez.patricia makes a good point about it being risky for rigging work.
