Trying to switch to eco-friendly comic con gear
I go to a lot of cons and hate throwing away cheap lanyards and bags. Any fans have tips on durable, sustainable stuff to bring instead? Want to be kinder to the earth.

Oh wow, I totally get this! I switched to a strong canvas tote for cons last year and it's held up through so many events. For lanyards, I found a cool recycled fabric one on Etsy that I just reuse every time. I also bring a metal water bottle to cut down on plastic cups. It feels way better not tossing stuff after each con. My gear has lasted ages and saved me money too.

Ugh idk, cons are already so expensive and heavy to haul stuff around. I tried the reusable bag thing once and the bag check line took forever cause they had to search every pocket. Plus my shoulder was killing me from carrying a full metal bottle all day.
