My friend told me Amazing Spider-Man 700 was gonna be a big deal and I called him crazy

Back in 2012 my buddy Mike kept saying that issue would change everything. I laughed at him cause I figured it was just another Doc Ock story. Then the whole Superior Spider-Man thing happened and he was right on the money. Now I never doubt him when he gets that look about a comic announcement. Anybody else got a friend who calls big twists before they drop?

That 'that look' thing is REAL. My buddy Dave gets this stupid grin whenever his pull list updates and I swear he predicted Secret Wars months before anyone was talking about it. What was Mike's reaction after the issue actually dropped? Because mine would have been insufferable, like 'told you so' for like a solid year. And a better follow up, did he have any other predictions that actually came true, or was this just a freak lucky guess? Because I'm trying to figure out if your friend genuinely has some kind of industry insider info or he just happened to call one right.

@taylor_hayes25 right? My cousin called a whole comic event a year early and wouldn't shut up about it.
