Shoutout to the guy at the Denver library who showed me what a debugger actually does
I was stuck on a for loop for 3 hours at the Denver Central Library last Tuesday and some guy next to me saw my screen and showed me how to set a breakpoint instead of printing stuff 20 times. I felt like an idiot for not knowing this existed after 4 months of learning Python, but he just shrugged and said he did the same thing for his first year. Now I actually look forward to when my code breaks because I can watch it happen step by step. Why did nobody in any of the YouTube tutorials I watched ever mention this tool? It's built right into the editor I was already using.
